PANDEMIC HOSPITAL

The Government of Spain approved on March 14, 2020 to declare a state of alarm to address the health emergency caused by COVID-19. Many hospitals, such as the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, the largest in Spain, were transformed into a center dedicated almost entirely to fighting this disease.In the Community of Madrid, a pandemic hospital was created to relieve the pressure on the rest of the healthcare centers. By October 2021, 115,000 deaths due to coronavirus were counted in Spain.
